Senior Theatre Practitioner - Private Hospital - Full time - Guildford - Up to 44,000
Full-time and permanent position
Salary: Up to 44,000 + Benefits (depending on level of experience, training, and qualification)

Role Overview:
Senior Theatre Practitioner position in the Theatre department
Applicant Criteria:
  • Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration
  • Post-registration qualification relevant to functional specialty (eg, Advanced Scrub Practitioner or Surgical First Assistant qualification for scrub leads)
  • ENB 998 and/or mentorship course
  • Approved/recognized anaesthetic course
  • ILS certification
  • Orthopaedic skill
  • Mentorship qualification
  • ILM3
  • Previous experience working within an acute healthcare environment
  • Previous experience managing and leading a clinical team

Senior Theatre Practitioner Duties:
  • Deliver safe quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care
  • Support, coordinate, and actively assist in the management and organization of care within the operating department
  • Provide quality planned care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care by ensuring all team members deliver quality patient care by providing appropriate clinical and managerial leadership
  • Lead in the delivery of patient care during a list or specified period of time
  • Ensure that patient safety checks are carried out in accordance with the policy and that all practitioners adhere to the policy
  • Contribute to quality improvement
  • Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self
  • Promote best evidence-based practice within own scope of practice
  • Apply legislation, policies, and procedures correctly
  • Achieve agreed objectives and demonstrate Private Hospital Group behaviors at all times
