Penguin Recruitment is please to be supporting a dynamic independent planning and development consultancy in their hire of an experience Planner / Senior Town Planner to their busy London based team!
As part of this team, you will deliver expert planning advice to a diverse client base and will manage a varied project workload, including major residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes. The current team specialise in large scale mixed-use regeneration projects, infrastructure, housing, and complex development schemes.
We are seeking applications from candidates who have the ability to manage and build relationships with new and existing clients, can prepare and submit cross-sectioning of planning applications, appeals and pre-application enquiries, as well as local plan representations. You will play a lead role in client and project meetings and will be responsible for driving development forward!
Candidate Requirements:
- RTPI accredited degree or equivalent qualification.
- MRTPI or eligible for membership and in pursuit.
- Extensive planning experience across a range of sectors, ideally within consultancy.
- Knowledge of the planning process, including both development management and local plans.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to mentor and guide junior planners within the team.
