Mencap are looking for someone to develop trusts programme that will grow in volume and reach in coming years, taking Mencap to new heights of support. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of new and existing relationships with trusts and other funding bodies; providing first class creative relationship management, proactive engagement and efficient reporting. You will be building and managing a pipeline of sustainable income, with a heavy focus on acquisition, supported by the Senior Trusts and Statutory Manager and Senior Leaders across the organisation. You will also support in the delivery of the trust and statutory strategy and ensure key priorities and goals are met.
To be successful in this role, you will:
· Have experience securing five-figure+ sums through compelling cases from trusts, lottery funders and other funding bodies.
· Have experience contributing and maintaining a strong donor pipeline by tracking and planning cultivation activities, applications and forecasted income.
· Demonstrate strong internal and external stakeholder relationships skills to coordinate commitments for existing funders across Mencap departments, including working closely with operational colleagues to identify and retrieve information necessary for the preparation of progress reports.
· Ideally, you will have experience securing donations in a similar organisation with a passion for changing the world with everyone with a learning disability.
