Work with Sense and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support and their families. We’ll give you full training to become an excellent Support Worker.
You will join our amazing Community Service team in Llandrindod Wells, Welshpool , Powys. The service provide valuable support for individuals with sensory loss to live the life they want and experience the world.
This is a permanent role, with part time hours available to suit up to 20 hours per week.
Usual hours of work are between 9am-5pm and occasionally out of hours support may also be required.
We are offering an hourly rate from £10.75 with enhanced rates for overtime and annual pay reviews/ rises.
There is a lot of travel involved for this role so you will need a Full UK Driving license and your own car and be willing to travel around Powys, Mid Wales. We pay 45p per mile after 25 miles of travel.
There is also opportunity to complete some elements of the role remotely and can be discussed at interview.

No two days will be the same
This role might include supporting people with:
Within their home, and within the community.
To provide a customised, responsive and high-quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
Everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
Finances.
Appointments
Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
Their social life
