I am assisting an incredibly exciting and rapidly expanding online retailer with their search for an SEO & PPC Lead to join their Online department. This role involves assisting in the planning, execution, and optimisation of SEO and PPC activities across a variety of brands. The successful candidate will collaborate with brand marketing teams and other online team functions to coordinate activities across channels and regularly update these to enhance performance.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Define and implement on-page SEO best practices to optimise website content for user experience and search engine visibility.
- Identify technical SEO improvements, such as site speed and mobile responsiveness, and collaborate with the engineering team for enhancements.
- Track, analyse, and report on SEO data to measure effectiveness and make informed decisions.
- Conduct keyword research to optimise existing content and discover new opportunities.
- Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and SEO industry trends.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of SEO strategies.
- Manage and optimise Google Ads campaigns daily to meet KPIs and improve ROI.
- Identify new opportunities within the PPC landscape and propose applicable strategies for our brands.
- Coordinate reporting and performance analysis to optimise ROI.
- Collaborate with European and US Ecommerce Executives on international campaigns.
- Provide support to the wider Online Team as needed, especially during peak periods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Several years of SEO & PPC experience with a proven track record of enhancing organic search and PPC performance.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, or similar.
- Extensive experience with Google Ads, with in-depth knowledge of the platform.
- Experience in working with and managing relationships with third-party agencies.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics and Excel for reporting and providing actionable insights.
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and commercial requirements.
- Creativity and the ability to bring new ideas to the role.
