A Manufacturing and production client of ours in the Witham area are recruiting a Service Administrator to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm with an hours lunch (40-hour week) and paying 24,000 - 28,000 per annum depending on experience.
Reporting into the Service Manager, your key duties will include but are not limited to:
- Ensure all Service and support calls (corrective and preventive) are processed correctly and ensure their completion.
- To assist and support 15 Service Engineers in effecting response, clear down and preventive operations.
- Accurately log all Customer Service requests on the Service Database and issue all relevant details to the nominated/correct Service Technicians within the prescribed timescales, KPI's and SLA.
- Ensure all calls are cleared within their KPI's and all records updated, notifying the Service Manager of any issues or difficulties.
- Arrangement and co-ordination of all plant, spare part and replacement equipment as required.
- Produce and maintain planned preventative maintenance schedules as required and ensure work is programmed and completed within stipulated timeframe (i.e. + or - 30 days of due month)
- Monitor service stock and ensure replacement items, returns and faulty goods for repair, etc. are available and processed correctly.
- Ensure all RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) are available to client and site, producing and updating same as necessary.
- Carry out other adhoc duties to support to department as directed by the Service Manager.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Service Administrator position:
- Manufacturing and Production industry experience essential
- Experience within a Service operation role essential, preferably in a Help Desk environment
- Ability to work unsupervised and to react well under pressure in a customer facing role
- Experience of MS Office applications, be PC literate and proficient in all aspects of a modern office
- Supervisory experience, with proven and demonstrable man management skills
- Ability to adapt to changes in workload and drive to succeed in all tasks, with a willingness to learn and take on new skills as required
- Good standard of education, GCSE level minimum or equivalent
