As a Service Assistant you'll work across visitor areas, helping different departments deliver high-quality customer service.
Contract/duration: This is a fixed-term contract for 1 year
Hours/working pattern/hours: This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role. Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we’re looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business. We’d give you as much notice of this as possible. You'll be working 1-2 days Weekend / Mid week.
Interviews will be held on the 14th and 15th of February.
What it's like to work hereReporting to the Visitor Experience Officer, you’ll be part of the Visitor Experience team working at the very busy Box Hill and Headley Heath portfolio.
Box Hill and Headley Heath are outdoor countryside properties so working outside in all weathers and conditions often on difficult terrain is part of the role. You will need to be over the age of 18 as lone working can sometimes be part of the role.
What you'll be doingService Assistants play an important role in supporting various property teams in greeting and helping our visitors. No two days are the same and you can expect to meet lots of different people and help in various visitor areas. You’ll be involved in different tasks. These could include greeting visitors on arrival, car park control, toilet checks, restocking the shelves in the book shop, litter picking, trail checking and assisting in large scale visitor events. Most importantly you’ll talk to visitors, answering any questions they have to make sure they can find everything they need for their visit. This role would suit anyone with a passion for delivering great customer service and a keen interest in learning about visitor operations.
