Service Charge Accountant

Reed are working company in the Residential Block Management industry seeking a Service Charge Accountant who shares our values to join our growing team.

Job Description

This is a full-time position with the option for on-site or hybrid work, based in Bromley. The Service Charge Accountant will be tasked with managing all necessary documentation for year-end Service Charge accounts, budgets, forecasts, and reconciliations. The role also includes ensuring that Service Charge demands are processed accurately and promptly, and liaising with external auditors and relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Service Charge accounting and reconciliations.
• Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software programs (e.g., Qube, Resident, Blockman).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, etc.) is required.

Salary

• Annual salary range: £35,000 - £45,000
