Swift Placements are working with a brand-new manufacturing client based in Leeds, who are looking for a Service Planning Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising, planning, and overseeing the delivery of services to meet client needs and organisational objectives. The successful individual will collaborate with various departments to ensure efficient service delivery, optimise resources, and maintain high-quality standards.
The role will involve planning visits for Service Engineers and assisting customers with enquiries around service breaks, pricing, and stock availability.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a technical or engineering environment.
Responsibilities:
Service Coordination: Coordinate service schedules, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client requirements. Issue quotations to customers. Plan and arrange visits for Service Engineers
Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams (operations, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth execution of services.
Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and managing expectations regarding service delivery.
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of service schedules, performance metrics, and client feedback improvement.
Problem-solving: Identify and resolve operational issues that may impact service delivery or client satisfaction.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies in service planning and execution.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in service coordination, logistics, or Scheduling
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for scheduling and data entry.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Experience with CRM or ERP systems.
- Analytical skills for interpreting data and making informed decisions.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
- Strong problem-solving mindset.
- Team player with good collaboration skills.

The role:
Full time permanent position
Location: Leeds
Salary on offer: 22,000- 25,000 DOE
Hours: 9:00am- 5:00pm
