About the Role

Base Location: Havant or Reading

Salary: £69,884 - £80,031 and a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

What is the Role?

The Cloud Service Delivery Manager is responsible for end-to-end operations and continual improvement of SSE's cloud platforms and services. This includes end to end ownership and management of service performance, availability, capacity, incidents, and problems impacting service provision.

The role is responsible and accountable for ensuring that SSE's cloud services portfolio meets its customer's requirements, regulatory and security policies.

This is a critical operational role, overseeing the processes and teams involved in day-to-day service management, the successful candidate will combine technical expertise with business acumen to deliver sustainable value through cloud services.

Role / Principal Accountabilities:

- Responsible for managing end-to-end Service Delivery and operations for Cloud services.

- Ensures Service Delivery meets any agreed Operational or Service Level Agreements, spanning in-house support functions and Third-Party providers.

- Develop mechanisms and reporting to measure effectiveness of Service Delivery, leveraging KPI's and operational metrics to establish service quality.

- Develops and implements service management processes, policies, and standards, aligning to ITSM standards and direction.

- Monitors service performance, availability, incidents, problems, changes, capacity, continuity.

What do I need?

- Knowledge, experience, and a strong track record in a related Operational or IT Service Management position, ideally within a complex, multi-platform environment.

- Enterprise experience in IT Service Delivery and operations. Experience across the service lifecycle is preferred.

- Experience with ITSM frameworks and processes like ITIL, COBIT, etc.

- Proven track record of managing end-to-end Service Delivery and meeting SLAs.

- Exposure to various Service Delivery models - in-house, outsourced, hybrid.

- Experience of Cloud technology and delivery models, its application and business value desirable.
