About Us:

Mirus IT is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Level 1 Service Desk Engineer based at our client's site in London. We pride ourselves on providing top-notch IT support to our clients and are looking for a talented individual to contribute to the success of our service delivery team.

Main Responsibilities:

As a Level 1 Service Desk Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our client's systems and network infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Answering inbound calls promptly.
  • Logging all customer issues, queries, and requests into the ticket management system
  • Providing Level 1 Server, Network, and Desktop Technical Support
  • Performing hardware configurations and software installations
  • Managing and working to internal and customer SLA's, escalating concerns when necessary
  • Creating and maintaining customer-specific infrastructure documentation
  • Taking end-to-end ownership of problem resolution
  • Managing client expectations through clear communication

Technical Skills:

  • Active Directory
  • MS Windows
  • Office 365

Key Skills and Experience:


  • 2-3 years of experience in a technical role supporting SMEs
  • Customer-facing experience
  • Familiarity with working to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Experience in a broader service delivery function
  • Ability to support multi-site clients
  • Creative, analytical problem solver with innovative thinking
