Form of workWe are recruiting for a Service Engineer to join one of our clients based in Milton Keynes

Hours of work: Monday to Friday (37 hours) - overtime available (80% workshop based/20% customer visits)
Our client is looking for the following:
- Background within engineering, mechanical and electrical with skills in some of the following areas would be advantageous: compressors, vacuum, hydraulics, valves, pumps, pump systems, motors, rotating equipment and any electromechanical
- A qualification desirable from ONC upwards
- Clean driving licence
- A technical aptitude, along with planning and organisational skills
The job:
- The successful candidate will have responsibility to:
- Find faults, conduct function checks and service repairs of product range
- Complete service reports
- Handle technical queries and find solutions for wider team
- Goods in for parts
- Involvement with training of apprentices
- Going out to customers to assess issues or perform services (van provided and overtime paid)
This role is part of the service team who are based in a Lab/Workshop environment - a friendly group who are keen to hire another one to their number
