An opportunity has arisen within the organisation to manage the delivery of the Domestic Abuse and Domestic Abuse Housing Solutions services in Birmingham.
These are homelessness prevention services providing housing related support to people dealing with domestic abuse. Both services cover the whole of Birmingham in service user homes and community bases.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a challenging service. Reporting to the City Manager, you will be part of the City’s senior management team and be responsible for strategically leading the service, including its day-to-day management. You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of practice and provide motivation and leadership to your team through your Team Leaders. Your role will include working with your team to achieve PBO and other performance related targets, and will cover service management and delivery, performance and HR related matters, and budgets and financial management.
You will have relevant experience in service provision and experience of managing teams. Experience of strategic and organisational development would also be desirable.
