Service Manager - Fieldwork And Practice Development

To assess and strengthen the current social work practice framework, finalise our audit and assurance framework and ensure that the directorate can demonstrate outcomes for service users and in readiness for the CQC inspection.  This post will be responsible for ensuring that we have a robust and positive system for practice quality assurance and that we provide excellent professional practice to the residents of Thurrock, 
as set out in the Care Act, Statutory Guidance, Social Work England, and the Professional Capabilities Framework.  The post holder will have a major contribution to make to the delivery of our vision and strategic priorities for our vulnerable adults, by managing the delivery and performance of high-quality 
social work provision to adults who require a social work intervention by Thurrock.
