Key Responsibilities
- Recruiting and inducting Support Workers
- Supervising and supporting your teams
- Attending regular meetings with your clients, CCG contacts, peers and management
- Rota planning
- Carrying out risk assessments
- Delivering training to team members
- Coordinate set up of new care packages
- Incident management, investigations, disciplinaries and grievances
- Providing regular reports and updates
- Cover shifts to support clients
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience of managing multiple care packages including rota planning
- Expertise and knowledge of working within the care sector
- The ability to carry out assessments and devise care plans and risk assessments
- Experience of managing Support Workers
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to organise a busy workload and prioritise effectively
- A working knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance within the care industry
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- The ability to lead by example to motivate and develop your teams
- The ability to understand financial data and sales & margin reports
- A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
- Experience working with individuals with learning, disabilities or autism.
