I am seeking an experienced Young Person's Service Manager, to work on a fixed term contract based in Milton Keynes?
Do you have the ability to lead and motivate staff to deliver excellent services?
Overview:
You will be supporting 50+ Young People with a multitude of needs including care leavers, unaccompanied asylum seeking children and those with offending behaviours.Accommodation and support comes in the form of 2 hostels providing 24hr staff cover and 3 other property's with visiting support.
You will be responsible for the effective management of all contracts within designated patches, including line managing the relevant front line staff. (Support Worker/Specialist Support Worker/Team Leader/ Therapist)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, and interview will be taking place ASAP.
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Contract: 3 Month's Fixed Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:
- Work to continuously improve staff competence, ensure ownership of all staff issues and speedy and effective conflict resolution
- Ensure that all safeguarding cases are managed in line with safeguarding protocols and are reported to Operational Managers
- Deliver effective, professional and commercially focused briefings and supervision meetings with staff and ensure that information, reporting & communications flow up/down is effective
- UndertakeYoung People specialism activities, linking in with other managers and Heads of Operations to ensure focused integration of specialisms across the whole organisation
- Ensure that all other policies and procedures are adhered to
Skill Set:
- Experience of managing Young People's services
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- An understanding of the complex issues Young People experience and how best to support them
- Knowledge of Psychologically Informed Environments (PIE)
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent customer relationship skills and will take the lead role with key stakeholders
