We are looking for sewing machinists to work within our alterations department - a free alterations service we offer to all of our customers. Your role will be to process garments for customers working to precise details and measurements using mechanical cutting tools, industrial Sewing Machines and steaming equipment. The alterations that we offer are to alter garment lengths, fix pockets, attach buttons, and attach tax tabs.

Basic sewing skills and previous experience in a similar role are an advantage, but full training will be given.

You will then work 7am - 6.30pm Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday on Week 1 (44 hours) and Wednesday - Friday on Week 2 (33 hours). This would then be rotated on an ongoing basis. This is an average of 38.5 hours per week.

During your probationary period you will get paid £25,025 per annum, and then move to £25,905 per annum upon successful completion of your probationary period.
