Shift Operations Manager

Adecco Engineering are excited to be recruiting for a Shift Operations Manager for our client, based in the vibrant town of Blackpool. Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee the production area, ensuring efficient operations and meeting production targets
* Utilise your experience in managing multiple lines within a 24/7 environment
* Thrive in a traditional employee relations climate and handle challenges in a heavily unionised environment
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of excellence, ideally with six sigma black belt certification
* Showcase your proven track record of enhancing line capability through efficiency improvements and waste reduction
* Maximise the potential of your team through effective development and performance management
* Demonstrate your potential for growth by striving towards advancement beyond this role
* Act as a custodian of major brands in a branded manufacturing business
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Graduate calibre or equivalent qualifications
* Relevant experience in managing a production area or multiple lines within a similar environment
* Familiarity with employee relations and unionised environments, displaying excellent conflict resolution skills
* Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies, preferably with six sigma black belt certification
* Proven ability to enhance line capability through increased efficiency and waste reduction
* Experience in developing and managing team performance, driving motivation and productivity
* Passionate about the manufacturing industry and experienced in working with major brands
