SalaryA thriving shipping company in Chandlers Ford with a well-established reputation is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Coordinator to join the team. Full training will be provided for this role, so candidates with no prior knowledge of shipping and freight are encouraged to apply. The role will encompass all aspects of the freight industry, including sea freight, air freight, European road freight, import, and export.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supporting colleagues and liaising with overseas partners and agents.
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers and clients.
- Assessing enquiries and providing quotations.
- Logging and filing paperwork appropriately, communicating with customers to ensure documentation is correct.
- Handling global shipments to/from Far East, USA, Europe, South America, and other global destinations.

Candidate does not need to have direct shipping experience, but experience working in an office environment is preferred - experience of working in supply or logistics would be transferable.
