Site Agent/ Project Manager

A mid-sized Contractor with 40 years of contracting experience in contaminated land remediation, earthworks and infrastructure works across the UK are looking for a Site Agent/ Project Manager to join their dynamic business.

Role

Responsible for the delivery of projects both operationally and commercially. Typically, these projects will be of a remediation, regeneration, reclamations nature requiring a good knowledge of earthworks specification compliance. Projects may also include demolition, drilling and grouting and civils infrastructure which will require appreciation of managing sub-contract packages.

Person Specification

Well-rounded in all aspects of contract management who can reliably deliver project(s) with a team and with limited direct management, but sufficiently aware as to when to engage senior team members as appropriate.

Qualifications and Requirements

Mandatory:

• SMSTS and CSCS, First Aid, CAT, Asbestos Aware

• Conversant with Microsoft word, excel and Microsoft project.

Ideally:

• Degree, HND, NVQ level 4-7 in Civil Engineering, environmental, geotechnical or construction / earthwork related
• 5 years plus having previously been in role as Site Agent / Project Manager

Useful:

• NRSWA, MHFA, Wamitab; confined spaces, IOSH, CAD, ground modelling and NEC management software
