My client is a leading Rail Contractor with a solid reputation for delivering high-quality projects within the rail industry. With a turnover of £50 million, they specialize in depot enhancements, refurbishments, and new builds.

Responsibilities:

As a PTS Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our rail projects. You will be responsible for:

1. Project Management: Overseeing depot enhancements, refurbishments, and new builds from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

2. Technical Expertise: Applying your technical expertise to provide guidance and solutions in areas such as track work, signaling, electrification, and civil engineering.

3. Quality Control: Conducting regular inspections to ensure that all work meets industry standards and client specifications.

4. Collaboration: Working closely with project managers, design teams, and subcontractors to coordinate activities and resolve any technical issues that may arise.

5. Health and Safety: Prioritizing and promoting a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations on site.

6. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, reports, and records.

Requirements:

1. PTS Certification: Possess a valid Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification.

2. Engineering Qualifications: Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

3. Experience: Proven experience in rail construction projects, with a focus on depot enhancements, refurbishments, and new builds.

4. Technical Skills: Proficient in relevant engineering software and tools. Knowledge of rail industry standards and regulations.

5. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.

6. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet to address challenges during project execution.

7. Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate site teams, ensuring a collaborative and productive working environment.
