The job is advertised as Fixed Term Contract to 31st August 2025, however if you like us and we like you this role will be permanent.
The Role:
We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Site Manager to join our team. This is a crucial role, ensuring that our school premises are maintained to the highest standards, providing a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the maintenance and security of the school buildings and grounds
- Key holder and site security, including the daily opening of the school, including some outside of normal hours for school events as required
- Managing and coordinating cleaning staff and contractors
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments
- Responding promptly to any maintenance issues and repairs
- Managing the school’s facilities and resources effectively
- Overseeing the scheduling and supervision of school events and lettings
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- Basic DIY skills and knowledge of building maintenance
- Enhanced DBS clearance
