My client is seeking an adept Site Manager for a significant local project in Plymouth. Our client, a reputable commercial new build, fit-out, and refurbishment contractor specialising in specialist industrial settings across the South, requires someone with solid experience to join their team.

This role requires overseeing the comprehensive management of a construction site in Plymouth. Responsibilities encompass meticulous planning, procurement of essential materials and equipment, personnel management, adherence to timelines and budgets, quality control, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental regulations. It involves close collaboration with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and consultants, as well as managing unexpected challenges and maintaining detailed project documentation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to ensuring project success.

Resilience and adept problem-solving capabilities are essential to tackle unforeseen challenges and make decisive choices under pressure.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, a solid grasp of Health and Safety procedures, and commercial awareness. Proficiency in mathematics and IT, familiarity with relevant building methods, and a clean driving license are required. Possession of an SMSTS Certificate, CSCS Card/HS&E Test, and the ability to pass BPSS Vetting are crucial qualifications.
