Are you a skilled and passionate Site Manager looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are working with a luxury housebuilder, who are recruiting for a Site Manager, for an exciting new build housing project in Blackburn. This is a permanent role but the company will consider a temp to perm contract for the right person.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage and motivate on-site teams, including subcontractors and tradespeople, to deliver high-quality work within strict timeframes.
- Implement and enforce health and safety practices, adhering to SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) guidelines.
- Regularly liaise with clients, architects, and suppliers to maintain clear communication throughout the entire project.
- Monitor construction progress, identify and resolve any potential issues, and ensure adherence to project specifications and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records, including site diaries and health and safety logs.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Site Manager in a new build housing environment.
- Possession of SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS card qualifications.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational capabilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for delivering high-quality projects within deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Valid driving license.
