Are you an experienced Site Manager looking for an exciting opportunity with an SME contractor? Do you have excellent technical knowledge and experience of working to a specific build programme within the commercial industrial sector on large projects? If so, we have the perfect role for you!
We are currently seeking a Site Manager to join our industrial company based in Blackburn. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing large projects with values around GBP100 million and working on 1,000,000 sq. ft. sites. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of these projects within budget and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the construction site, including coordinating and supervising subcontractors, materials, and equipment
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to on site
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project delivery
- Monitor progress and ensure that the project is on track to meet the specific build programme
- Oversee quality control and ensure that the project is completed to high standards
- Manage any issues or challenges that may arise during the construction process
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the commercial industrial sector
- Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of construction processes
- Ability to work to a specific build programme and deliver projects on time
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A valid driving license is essential
