We are looking for an experienced Site & Property Maintenance Manager to join one of the UK's leading specialists in the food and agricultural sector based in Newton Rigg, Cumbria.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a family-run organization leading the way in sustainability and renewable energy where you will be the eyes and ears of the entire site ensuring H&S regulations are being upheld, maintaining utilities, and organising the rental accommodation.
As the Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the following:
- Maintaining all utilities including oil boilers, internet and more
- Collecting meter readings where necessary and keeping an organised log of all meters and locations
- Ensuring all Health & Safety aspects are being followed - servicing fire alarms, extinguishers, legionella testing, electric certificates etc.
- Organising inspections, thorough checkout reports, general maintenance, and collecting keys efficiently in regard to rental accommodation and commercial lets.
- Gathering quotes for repairs beyond your expertise and presenting them to management in a clear and concise manner.
- Dealing with repairs reported in a timely fashion and reporting them to management.
Requirements:
- Able to complete assigned tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of three-phase electric, large commercial oil boilers and IT technical experience
- Able to work within a team and willingness to follow instructions
- Use own initiative with a common sense approach
- Understanding of Health and Safety Procedures
- Highly organised
- Eye for detail to spot problem areas on site needing of repairs
- Communicate effectively as your team will be based elsewhere

- £34,000 - 5 days a week, 8:30am -4:30pm
