About the Role

We are seeking a proven Security Controller who will be required to deliver Security direction to our Gloucester site including:
  • Managing onboarding Induction
  • Visitor approval
  • Assist with security investigations
  • Responsible for co-ordination of audits and compliance activity
  • Be responsible for liaison with Customer reps
  • Responsible for general day to day security activities on site
  • Provide onsite guidance and contact for Gloucester Staff
  • Physical security guidance and support to various project across the business- where clearance level permits.
  • Perform Security Controller/Site POC role at the LMUK RMS Gloucester Facility
  • Responsible for onsite Security Education
  • Actively work with LMUK Security Controller/Security Manager in raising issues for guidance.
  • Work with LMUK RMS Security team.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • Experience in Defence Industry or OGD (Other Government Department) requirements is essential - minimum 5 years; including Contract Security, Information Management, Physical Security, personnel security and an understanding of overseas vetting process
  • Able to achieve a UK Security Clearance to the appropriate level required for this role
  • Enable to build effective relationships
  • Required to be on site three days a week (with some hybrid working)
  • Experience in delivering Security messaging
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks
  • COMSEC experience desirable
