Job Title:Skills Development Coach (Electrical)Location: PortsmouthSalary: £39,921+ Depending on skills and experienceWhat you'll be doing:

Developing and delivering knowledge and practical based lessons which meet the mandated learning outcomes of the Level 3 Engineering Technician Electrical Fitter Apprenticeship standard

Managing the delivery, assessment and recording of the Electrical Fitter competency test as specified within BAE Systems quality processes and policies

Monitoring and providing developmental feedback to apprentices to assist in the identification of "readiness" for end point assessment

Working collaboratively with the Electrical Fitter Capability Lead to design, develop and maintain the Electrical Fitter trade/capability test

Your Skills and Experience:Essential

L3 or above electrical qualification minimum

Electrical experience in a marine setting - Commercial & Naval Shipping background

Desirable

Experienced in delivering Academic and Practical lessons

Effective communicator, with a proven track record in delivering practical and theory-based learning in a college and work-based learning environment

Level 3 / 4 Teaching Certificate

Assessor Award qualification (or working towards)
