Social Media / Community Manager

Main Duties

Ganddee is a fast-growing tech startup with a mission to remove barriers to sustainable consumption in major cities around the world, starting with London. Our mobile app connects consumers to sustainable shops, allowing our users to not only save money, time, and effort, but to also contribute to the transition to a greener economy by empowering better businesses.

As we continue to expand and shape the landscape of sustainable living, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and creative Social Media & Community Manager to volunteer with us and help grow our digital footprint. This is a great opportunity to gain industry experience and make an impact in a fast-paced startup environment.

As our Social Media / Community Manager, you will be responsible for generating engaging and high-quality content for our Social Media channels, especially Instagram (@ganddeeapp). Your work will be crucial in raising awareness about our mission, showcasing our app, and growing our online community. The ideal candidate would be a student with excellent communication and graphic design skills and a strong sense of aesthetics. The ideal candidate is interested in sustainability (e.g. likes vegan/vegetarian restaurants and cafes, is keen on charity shopping etc.) and likes the types of shops listed on the Ganddee app. The selected candidate will be the voice and the face of the supportive and growing community of Ganddizens.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a Social Media content strategy to increase our brand presence and engagement.
• Engage with Ganddizens on our social networks.
• Create engaging content including graphics, videos, and text for use on social platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn.
• Utilize tools such as Canva and Capcut to create visually appealing content that resonates with our audience.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure brand consistency and to optimize Social Media strategy.

Skills and Experience Required

Qualifications

• Experience with Social Media platforms and tools like Canva, Capcut.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video) and excellent graphic design skills.
• Strong understanding of Social Media KPIs.
• Passion for sustainable living and eco-friendly practices.
