• You do NOT need to have any prior business experience or be studying a business degree for this role. We are looking for someone with a strong interest in Social Media.
• Supposing your only Social Media experience to date is creating reels from your holidays/nights out/festivals then you would be capable of the role. So, please get in touch!
• Additionally, if you travel regularly then do not be put off applying for this position as flexibility can be easily built into the work pattern.

Background Information

• We are selling B2C through multiple channels.
• This role fills part of a broader Marketing strategy.

Role will Include:

• Staying on top of trends (i.e. trending sounds)
• Shooting and editing Instagram Reels/TikToks
• Brainstorming and Storyboarding Video Ideas
• Research on appropriate collaborations/partners
• Influencer outreach
• Hashtag research
• Shooting and editing for TikTok Ads
• Assisting with TikTok shop
• Instagram
• Scheduling of Social Media content

The Role may also Involve other Social Media tasks such as:

• Instagram

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge and proficient use of the major current Social Media platforms
• No particular degree programme required but an interest in Social Media, either for personal or business use, is essential.

• Structured thought process and ability to communicate effectively

• Intuitive

Key Information

• This role is part time for 2 days per week
• Start Date - April 2024 (flexible)
• Duration - Provisionally 12 weeks and will be extended based on performance
• Working Hours - 8 to 16 hours per week (Flexibility is available with the hours and days of work)
• Working Days - Flexible to fit in with your studies
• Location - Remote. We are based in Glasgow city centre and there will be some in person interaction but you can be located anywhere in the UK (and can work from abroad when travelling).

What You Will Gain
