Digital Creator and Sunday times best-selling cookbook author, Hayley Dean of Hayley's World and Hayley's recipe club is currently seeking a Social Media Digital Content Creator to join her team. With a high-profile Social Media following, a growing profile and more books on the way Hayley is now seeking to bolster her team by appointing a talented Social Media Digital Creator.

Within the position of Social Media and Digital Content Creator, you will work closely with the founder of the business along with other support functions, to play a key role in bringing our brand to life through the power of content and supporting creative ideas and influence. As digital Content Creator you will primarily be responsible for the design, scheduling and editing of compelling video, imagery, and Social Media Content for a wide range of Social Media channels.

What do you need to apply for the position of Social Media Digital Content Creator

• A passion for both food and cooking with an eye for what would create engaging content for existing and future audiences
• Proven experience of designing and delivering content campaigns
• Proven experience in video content creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills and creative vision
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and a keen eye for detail.
• A solid understanding of digital media engagement and the production of compelling content
• Experience of using CANVA for design
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Ability to work independently, bringing your own ideas and creative vision
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of current trends and best practices in digital marketing and e-commerce
• A passion for storytelling and a creative mindset with a focus on driving results
• Competent in Google Analytics and Social Media analytics tools, with a strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
• Knowledge of Hootsuite or similar Social Media planning tools would be an advantage but not essential
• Experience of creating visual content assets (both imagery and video) to use across our Social Media channels

Key Responsibilities of Digital Content Creator:

• Collaborate with the founder and wider team to develop new content concepts and strategies that align with our brand and marketing objectives
• Plan and execute video and Social Media Content focused upon food plans and recipe ideas. Including ideas for new Social Media Content creation along with the strategic planning and editing of pre-recorded media and imagery for both current and future campaigns
• Edit and post-process video content to ensure a polished and cohesive final product
• Optimise video content for various digital platforms, including primarily Social Media channels – Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest and our forthcoming website
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in content creation and digital marketing
