We are currently seeking an experienced Social Media Manager / Producer (Motorsport) to join our growing and talented team. The ideal candidate has a spark in their eye for thinking outside the box, is experienced in managing social channels – including live event coverage – for sporting teams and associated brands, loves creating outstanding social content and should be passionate and knowledgeable about racing and motorsport.
Working with clients such as the UIM Class 1 Powerboat Championship and the newly-formed Aoki Racing Team, Steve Aoki’s E1 Series outfit, you’ll be at the beating heart of the Social Media channels for two fast-emerging motorsport properties – one focusing on the elevation of a best-in-class Championship, and the other driving the growth of a new, exciting team.

Due to a number of recent business wins and existing client demands, we’re looking to bolster our growing team. That’s where you come in!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing client Social Media channels including content creation, planning, scheduling, brainstorming new creative ideas and reporting on performance.
- Copywriting and curation of Social Media posts for client channels.
- Community Management and engagement with audiences across social channels.
- Content creation, planning and brainstorming for upcoming races and non-race day activity that tell both short-term and season-long stories.
- On-location race day coverage with hands-on shooting of photography and video content, working closely with the teams and pilots.
- Shooting and editing social-first content which demonstrates an understanding and consideration for growing and engaging audiences across Instagram, X, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn, with a particular focus on short-form vertical video.
- Embracing and executing on the agreed tone of voice while showing a clear understanding of the nuances and required differences across channels.
- Manage all tagged and collaboration content, communicating with different teams, drivers and stakeholders and planning into the posting schedule.
- Reporting on social performance, taking learnings into future content direction.
- Proactively coming to the table with new, exciting ideas for our clients that will help them achieve their objectives across Social Media and beyond.
- Participation in regular client meetings and presenting of creative concepts.
- Work closely with our in-house Content Production Studio to write briefs for graphic design, motion animation, and wider support across video editing.
REQUIREMENTS
- Established Social Media and community management background, including proven experience in planning and executing campaigns and activity on a major brand Social Media account across multiple platforms (either rights holder, brand or agency side).
- A Social Media native who loves staying on trend and has experience in growing and engaging audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organised individual who recognises the importance of structure, planning, accuracy and clear communication.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in the areas of written and visual content with strong editorial judgement.
- Skilled at content optimisation on all major Social Media channels.
- Ability to speak confidently in large group meetings.
- Can operate well in a time-sensitive and high-pressured environment.
- Willingness to travel to race locations and work during race weekends and/or evenings where required as per the season race calendar(s).
- Proficient on Adobe Suite alongside experience working with in-app native editing tools for social content such as CapCut.
- Experienced in working with DSLR camera equipment for both photography and videography alongside creating phone-captured content.
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent (not essential, but desirable).
- Must live a commutable distance to AND THE NEW’s London HQ.

- Salary range: £25,000 - £33,000 (dependant on experience)
