Social Media Specialist

SOCIAL MEDIA SPECIALIST

Samlesbury Hall is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and confident self-starter with enthusiasm for tourism and hospitality, along with passion for the heritage of their historic hall.

Duties:

· Daily organic posting across all Social Media platforms, in particular Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn

· Management of targeted ads (with budget provided)

· Creation of Social Media content calendar

· Content creation, including graphics and engaging copy

· Video content creation

· Management and creation of regular mailshots using MailChimp

· Management of GoogleAds

· Monitor and respond to messages and comments on all Social Media channels

· Production of reports to show success or failure in all areas, and make recommendations for improvement

· Work with all departments at Samlesbury Hall to ensure all elements of the Hall’s brand are marketing successfully.

Skills:

Proven experience in Social Media management and content creation.
Strong understanding of various Social Media platforms and their respective audiences.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to think creatively and generate innovative ideas for Social Media campaigns.
Proficient in using Social Media management tools and analytics platforms.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Awareness of how to attract influencer coverage

An ability to stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Social Media marketing

A keen eye for design and attention to detail

Please note this is on on-site position and you must be able to commute to Samlesbury Hall. Occasional off site work may be expected

Pay: £15 per hour (total 15 hours per week)
