Pay Rate: £20.83 per hour (Assignment rate)

Duties:
- Formulate and deliver a programme of therapy or care under the supervision of a therapist, with the aim to maximise independence for residents
- Delivering therapy-based interventions
- Assess for and provide equipment and adaptations
- Complete preventative assessments under the direction of a therapist and set SMART goals for clients in relation to their care and therapy needs
- Assess carer’s of residents
- Assess residents’ ongoing care and support needs following a period of reablement and set outcome focussed support plans
Requirements of the Social Services Therapy Assistant:
- Recent experience within Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy
- NHS experience would be advantageous but not essential
