Salary: £30 per hour
Sheffield City Council is recruiting a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our Adults Mental Health Team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support individuals experiencing Mental Health challenges and promote their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting assessments and developing care plans for adults with Mental Health needs.
- Providing therapeutic interventions and support to promote recovery and independence.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals, support services, and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
- Advocating for individuals' rights and ensuring their voices are heard in care planning.
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with experience in adult Mental Health services.
- Registered with Social Work England (or eligible for registration).
- Knowledge of Mental Health legislation and best practices in Mental Health care.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to formulate effective care plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a person-centred approach to support.
