Job Role: Social worker safeguarding and care planning
This is a specialist Senior Practitioner role, which includes supporting and managing staff in timely assessing cases for closure, transfer or step down to Early Intervention Services. Staff within this project team, will not be working or overseeing proceedings, PLO cases or even CP. They will be responsible for CIN and taking cases to closure or transfer. We are considered Good with Outstanding leadership by Ofsted and are on a journey of Getting to Excellence. Our ambition is to ensure we provide Outstanding services to children and their families at all times. We pride ourselves upon high support and high challenge in respect of practice. We work to the Bromley Relationship Model of practice and training in ‘BRM’ is delivered by our Principal Social Worker . This model is all about relationships and reflection , working with families rather than ‘to’ them , helping them find

As a Social worker you must have a degree in Social work with a minimum 2 years post qualifying experience and passed your AYSE, experience in an NHS Establishment or a local authority is desirable.
To act in accordance with SWE registration requirements and Code of Conduct for exercising accountability and professional practice.
To provide professional Social work assessments to support the commissioning process in line with care management and continuing care.
Employers will be keen to see that you have a friendly and caring attitude, and understand and respect people who need healthcare support.
Previous experience and/or qualifications in Social work are essential to apply for this role.
