The core of our mission lies with the Trading Engineering team, dedicated to developing software solutions that drive this innovative venture forward. As a vital team member, you will address complex challenges found in the crypto trading space, working in close collaboration with a diverse group of traders, engineers, quantitative researchers, and operational staff. Our Technical Environment
The team develops primarily in in Go, complemented by Python for integration services, all within an AWS hosted environment.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the development of our next-generation trading platform in partnership with the team.
- Act as a conduit between trading requirements and technical execution, driving the creation of tools that enhance operational efficiency.
- Innovate, design, prototype, and iterate on new features and functionalities.
- Commit to the ongoing improvement of the platform's features and underlying codebase.
- Optimize platform performance to ensure scalability.
- Maintain high standards of code documentation.
- Implement robust monitoring solutions to detect and address unexpected system behaviors.
- Embrace a variety of responsibilities as needed in this dynamic role.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming languages (C++, Java, Golang).
- Expertise in Python and a solid grasp of design patterns.
- Outstanding problem-solving abilities, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of Linux and Shell scripting environments.
- Ability to multitask and switch contexts effectively.
- A positive, team-oriented, and curious approach to challenges.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is beneficial.
- Knowledge of data structures, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm is advantageous.
- Experience with REST and Websockets is valued.
- Interest in financial markets, digital assets, and the cryptocurrency landscape is desirable.
