Software Development Engineer, Eucf Aces Ethos

You will have opportunities to solve deep technical problems, build innovative solutions at regional or global level, and work with experienced Software Developers.
You will be involved in the design, development and rollout of numerous full stack solutions for end user facing projects. Those are ranging from warehouse shop floor level UIs, changing the way the products move through our warehouses, through European-wide optimization tools, redefining the product movement between various Amazon entities (Fulfillment Centers, Sort Centers or Delivery Stations), ending with predictive and prescriptive tools directly affecting the speed of package delivery to the end customers.
Key job responsibilities

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
London, GBR
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in professional, non-internship Software Development
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full Software Development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing
- Experience in full stack development, both front-end and backend
