Software Developement Manager - Hybrid Role (London) - Salary 85K

My client is looking for a Software Development Manager to drive the growth of their exciting flagship SaaS product. My client is a major international consultancy, and they are currently looking for a Technical Expert to join their team and be a key POC for clients with the implementation of their product.

This is an experienced management position; therefore the ideal candidate must have experience successfully managing end-to-end life-cycles with a solid understanding of Python and JavaScript Technologies. You will not be expected to code yourself but a background in coding is essential.

This a client facing position, where your responsibilities will be:

• Leading a Software Development team of around 8 developers
• Relaying client's requirement to the team, ensuring the code is tested and runs smoothly.
• Ensuring deliverables are met in a timely manner.
• Driving the growth of the product, which will involve product demonstrations.
• Acting as an SME when discussing project scope with clients

Skills Required:

• Software Leadership or Management Experience (Essential)
• Client Facing / Stakeholder Management
• Python
• Django
• JavaScript or TypeScript with React
• AWS & Power BI (Desirable)
• QA Experience (Desirable)
• SaaS (Desirable)

Salary: up to 85K DOE + Bonus

Location: Central London with 2 days WFH / week
