Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to deliver research projects, products and services that promote safe, secure AI systems for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a background in delivering technology-based IT solutions, and have a grasp of leading edge trends and technologies within the sector.

You will be a core part of the delivery team, and be the key contact with our customers over a portfolio of diverse projects. Ideally, you will have experience in working with project methodologies, and will be able to demonstrate a track record of successful delivery on time and budget, whilst maintaining the highest quality of deliverables.

Experience of working on the supply side, as opposed to in-house for a user, is highly desirable.

Our work environment is flexible and supportive, embracing a hybrid pattern that allows for a balance between office collaboration and remote working. Our London office is located between Oval and Vauxhall, where you would be required to work a couple of days a week and whenever necessary to meet and support colleagues and customers. There may also be opportunities to travel throughout the UK, and potentially overseas.

Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of consultancy and product-led projects to time, budget and quality standards.
• Schedule and plan the programme and resources across multiple projects, interacting with other managers in the project management team.
• Staff manage colleagues assigned to those projects, consistent with Advai culture of cooperation, openness and inclusion.
• Prepare and execute bids and quotations for new work, and extensions to existing projects.
• Manage relationships with our customers at all levels
• To be an ambassador for Advai and its mission of Safer AI in presales work and at industry events.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in AI, Software Development, or related technical fields
• Can demonstrate experience of working within a recognized project methodology
• Experience of managing project budgets
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, or Trello

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices
• Experience of product development
• Experience of a service-led product delivery business model
• Management experience gained in a high tech, highly complex IT related field
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to changes and fast-paced environments
• High level of attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
