Job Description
Our Software Engineering Manager is currently recruiting for an experienced Software Engineer to join our skilled and innovative IT Department.
As a Software Engineer you’ll enjoy a high profile role and be a key member of a dedicated team that underpins and supports business-wide change by transforming requirements into innovative IT solutions.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Building, deploying and maintaining scalable products and services
- Consistently write, translate and code software according to specifications and standards
- Collaborate with Solution Architects in conceptualising and developing software solutions
- Ability to work alongside UX Designers, Developers and Testers
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build a rapport with key stakeholders and Project Managers
Qualifications
What we're looking for;
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following:
- 3+ Years building solutions primarily in JavaScript/TypeScript and using frameworks such as NodeJS and ReactJS
- Be proficient with version control systems such as using Git as well as being comfortable contributing to pull requests
- A strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery processes such as Jenkins and Github Actions
- Strong Knowledge of database such as MySQL and NoSQL (eg; MongoDB)
- Exposure of cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS or Azure is also an advantage
- Able to work well under pressure with tight deadlines and is able to multitask when required
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to see and keep track of the “big picture”
