Support Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes (Hybrid 1 day a week in office)
Salary: GBP40,000 per annum
Are you a skilled and dynamic individual with a passion for resolving technical issues and providing exceptional support? Harvey Nash are proudly partnered with one of the key Telecommunications businesses in Milton Keynes growing out their 2nd and 3rd line technical customer support function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a high level of support and service to customers.
- This will include the setup and optimization of their on-prem and hosted solution.
- Troubleshoot network, Firewall, Router and ISP connections to optimize their VoIP quality of service.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support to customers.
- Use knowledge of VoIP networking technology, hardware and software.
- Customer Communication: Communicate with customers via phone, email, or in-person to understand and address their concerns, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of support processes, issue resolutions, and customer interactions.
- Product Knowledge: Stay abreast of the latest developments in our telecom products and services, and effectively communicate updates to customers.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and sales teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues, as well as provide insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyse and solve complex technical issues.
- Understnading of TCP/IP Networking, routing and switching.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with telecom products and services.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
