Solution & Service Design Managers

Due to two internal promotions, we are looking for two Solutions & Service Design Managers (SSD Managers) to join this talented and cohesive team!

About the role:
The SSD Manager designs and manages projects/solutions with the aim to address and solve specific pain points in the patient journey in order to accelerate time to treatment in the priority therapeutic areas.
Key responsibilities:
• Collaborates with multiple stakeholders; internally (Value & Access, Therapy Area teams, medical, legal, compliance, procurement, finance, analytics etc.) and externally (NHS customers, vendors, etc) to develop solutions on behalf of Novartis that facilitate partnership with the NHS.
• Supports the Brand and Value & Access teams in identifying and designing possible solutions based on the patient journey problems to solve, focusing on scalability and best practice.
• Drives the medical, legal and compliance processes, ensuring fast and efficient approval of projects.
• Identifies, assesses, selects, and manages external vendors during deployment.
• Defines KPIs for each solution type and tracks performance and measurement of impact.
• Support the Digital Medicines strategy by advising on or developing or managing solutions that require digital implementation
• Manage project financials in alignment with TA and wider business
• Collaborate with the solutions implementation team to manage the ongoing implementation of projects including dispersal of allocated funding

Requirements:
• Experience in managing projects leading to better healthcare outcomes
• Previous project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry is essential e.g. through roles such as market access, marketing, sales, compliance or other
• Good understanding of patient journey concepts and healthcare system as a whole
• Strong collaboration skills, stakeholder engagement and management
• Demonstrable experience of leading without authority within a matrix organisation
• Requires negotiation and persuasion skills, interpretation, and efficient communication of complex information
• Service mind-set; solution connected to the problem, customer experience approach
• Budget Management
• UK experience and understanding of the NHS is essential
Desirable experience:
• Large Pharmaceutical company experience
