Solutions Architect

Bring your innovative ideas to help positively transform our services and deliver digital excellence across the force.

Working proactively you will be responsible for the high-level technical design of solutions considering architectures within the organisation.

You’ll be working with digital business analysts to understand complex business requirements and deliver effective solutions in our fast-paced environment.

What you’ll be doing

• You’ll be designing solutions appropriate for customer requirements
• Develop our technical strategy, including force cloud adoption
• Review the technology landscape to bring in new ideas, support and encourage innovation
• Be responsible for the development of technology and application systems

The must haves

• Computer Science, IT or related degree or have relevant work experience.
• Experience of Solutions and/or Enterprise Architecture
• Experienced in designing solutions within a secure network ensuring compliance to accreditation regimes and excellent problem-solving skills
• You’ll be familiar with web architectures, APIs, cloud infrastructure, SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, etc. and DBMS architectures

Salary £50,109 – 58,062

For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
