Solution Architect

Contract: 5 months initially (extension subject to customer requirement)

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with extensive experience in ESRI ArcGIS Pro and a strong background in GIS implementations within the Utilities or Telecommunications sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing GIS solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design: Lead the design of GIS solutions leveraging ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
• Implementation: Oversee the implementation of GIS solutions, including system configuration, integration, and deployment.
• Project Management: Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs, conduct requirement analysis, and present solution designs.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, system architecture, and user guides.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all solutions meet rigorous quality standards through systematic testing and validation.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and trends, continuously improving solution offerings.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS solution architecture and implementation.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in ESRI ArcGIS Pro and related ESRI suite of products.
• Strong knowledge of GIS principles, spatial data management, and analysis.
• Experience with GIS integration with other enterprise systems.
• Industry Experience: Demonstrated experience in GIS implementations within the Utilities or Telecommunications sectors.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage projects, including scope, schedule, and resources.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
