SalaryOur international client is looking for an experienced, spanish-speaking bookkeeper to join their team on a permanent basis. The role is predominately remote however you will be required on the odd occasion to be able to meet at the central office near Camden Town, possibly once a month.
This job would suit a Level 3 AAT or qualified accountant with relevant experience and you must have fluent Spanish.
The successful individual will be a strong on Excel with pivot table experience. They will have high level accuracy and be a confident communicator. For this role you will need to be organised and deadline oriented with a hands on and analytical mindset.
Job responsibilities:
- Fluent Spanish is essential.
- Maintain the accounts' payable and receivable ledgers ensuring accurate recording and processing of transactions
- To reconcile Balance Sheet Control Accounts
- Reconciling accounts receivable and accounts payable each month, including the preparation of quarterly reports
- Communication with company accountants
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
- Compile and post Sales and Purchase Invoices
- Credit Control
- Ownership for accounting deadlines
- Undertake daily bank reconciliations on all bank accounts.
- Process and post monthly petty cash and credit card expenditure journals.
- Undertake ad hoc project work when required
