Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wakefield. The successful candidate will work closely with students who have Special Educational Needs, helping them to overcome barriers and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support and small group sessions for students with a range of SEN.
- Collaborate with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and report on student progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working with children with SEN is preferred.
- NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and resilience.
