About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Wakefield. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting, helping them to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support and group interventions for students with a range of SEN.
- Work closely with the classroom teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience working with children with SEN is preferred.
- NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
