We are seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SENTA) to join a supportive school team in Plymouth. This full-time, term-time role is set to start in the spring term, offering a great opportunity for individuals passionate about making a difference in Special Needs education. Initially on a temporary basis, there is potential for a contract for the right candidate.
Day to day of the role:- Work within a classroom setting, supporting the learning and development of students with Special Needs.
- Maintain a calm and patient demeanour in potentially stressful situations.
- Demonstrate flexibility by adapting to changes, such as working in different classrooms if required.
- Ensure reliability and punctuality in attending the school from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
- Utilise excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- A passion for working with others, particularly in an educational setting.
- Patience and the ability to remain composed under pressure.

- Previous experience is not essential as training will be provided.
