Monarch Education are currently seeking a Sports Coach/Teaching Assistant to work in one of our partner schools based in Blackpool, FY5. This role is due to start in February 2024 until at least July 2024. Ideal candidates would be fun, motivated, have previous experience working with children in a coaching environment and hold accredited coaching badges. Candidates should be committed to providing excellent learning opportunities for children, feel confident supporting the class teacher and be passionate about ensuring the welfare and happiness of children.
Candidates should have good behaviour-management and feel confident implementing these techniques such as positive-reinforcement and good listening skills.
The role:
- Full time, Monday-Friday
- Hours approximately 8:30am-3:30pm
- 11.85- 13 per hour
- Blackpool area
Responsibilities:
- Promoting a positive learning environment, adapting to all childen's individual learning needs
- Creating fun and engaging P.E interventions or lessons
- Ensuring good behaviour management
- Providing 1-1 support for individual pupils
- Delivering activities on 1-1 or small group basis
